750g minced meat |
thick slice bread |

250g cottage cheese |
2 apples, cored |
|
½ teasp thyme |
1 egg |
|
1 teasp nutmeg |
optional: 1-2 tablesps bran |

¼ teasp allspice/pimento |
½ pkt French Onion Soup (rounded tablesp) |

Whizz bread and apple.
Thoroughly mix all other ingredients - Kenwood with dough hook does a great job.
Into loaf tin, preferably the double tin style
with holes in the inner tin and
the outer tin catches the juices. Mound it up in the centre if necessary.
Bake 180C 1 hour. Yummy hot or cold.
Meat: 500g pork mince + 250g chicken mince
750g beef mince
750g lamb mince
Spices: Try other spices
Apple: Use carrot / zucchini / whatever instead
Additions: chopped black olives / chopped roasted capsicum / nuts / pine nuts / whatever
