Tuna Noodle Bake |
Serves 6 |
|
500g spirali or short pasta |
2½ cups / 1 pint milk |
|
1 onion, chopped |
1 teasp dried Oregano flakes |
|
1 - 2 tablesp oil |
1 cup Coon cheese, grated |
|
2 - 3 tablesp P flour |
1 can Tuna, drained |
|
|
4 hard boiled eggs, sliced |

Cook pasta to al dente in plenty of boiling water with salt & a dash of oil
Saute
onion in oil until translucent. Add flour, stir in and cook stirring for
a
minute or so. Add milk to make white sauce. Add oregano.
Bring to the boil, add cheese, flake in tuna, add cooked pasta and fold in sliced eggs.
Either Serve immediately
Or
Put in casserole, top with a little extra grated cheese
Bake 180C for 20 - 30 minutes, until top is brown & it looks bubbly hot
It tastes better baked, but it tastes good anyway!
Serve with tossed salad or hot vegies
